Our senses are bombarded by sounds, lights, smells - all sorts of sensory stimuli in this world. We are often overstimulated, anxious, and disconnected from our sense of self, our soul being. Nature is a powerful therapy to return us to a sense of wellbeing just by being in it. By immersing ourselves in the natural moment we can tune into different experiences that resonate with our body and mind. This sensory therapy not only gets us reconnected with the body but also our spirit and our innate intelligence.
Getting Aligned in a Disconnected World:
In exploring of our relationship with nature, many of us are separated with visiting rights. This divorce from nature and our inner awareness can be a reality of modern living that also contributes to feeling trapped in repetitive, soul stuffing daily cycles. Exploring nature can help us with soul play, releasing the soul and letting it speak.

Explore the journey called life from nature’s guidance. We answer questions such as how can living in tune with the season’s help us, and what do the sunrises and sunsets, or rocks and rivers, of our life teach us?
Our renewed relationship with nature has us moving, creating, and embracing our passions. This has us creating habits, routines, rituals and celebrations in nature to keep us on track for transforming. Many times we experience the bliss of vacation or a retreat only to return to “normal life” and feel our brief transformation drift away. Without creating long lasting habits and routines that we cherish, we are sadly doomed to the mundane drift backwards. Creating those habits takes courage and dedication.
This is my passion. I am a firm believer in following dreams, meaningful participation in life and being in nature. Throughout my life I wandered the West, danced in the jungles of Costa Rica, paddled in Hawaii, surfed in Mexico, swam in the lakes of the Adirondacks, explored our great National Parks system, and soaked in the natural beauty of this world. I've hiked, camped, skied, paddled, tracked, hunted and danced here, there and everywhere. I've grown healing and nurturing gardens, made my own herbal products, and foraged. As a photographer I strived to capture the natural beauty I've seen and bring it to others, It's impossible for me to miss an opportunity to be outdoors. It's truly my dream to share with you what I have learned about nature and wellness and to change our lives everyday for the better using a lifetime of gathered knowledge as an occupational therapist, human and spiritual being.
